MetroWest Tunnel

The Metro-West Tunnel Project, a 5 year project to upgrade the water transmission system for the City of Boston, was a major logistics and technical accomplishment for Rosenfeld Concrete. The project required development and delivery of a concrete mix that maintained its integrity through delivery and pumped over a distance of one mile. Delivery logistics also required erecting a temporary concrete plant on site.
